Meredith Kelly, LCSW
Director of Counseling Services
I am a clinically certified CPT-III Complex Trauma and Dissociation Specialist from the International Association of Psychotraumatology. I partner with clients to use their personal strengths and support networks to build lasting solutions. I respect that each client has a unique perspective and situation and do not take an individual’s choice to seek therapy lightly. It is an honor to work with clients who are seeking to work through their identified problems, issues and diagnoses. I use evidence-based approaches learned in graduate school and through my work in research and in the field with families. I believe strongly in continual learning and will continue to further my education, always having an open mind to new ways of guiding therapeutic practice. I have worked with family systems navigating substance use, family change and trauma. My most fulfilling work has been with teens who are exhibiting behavioral issues. I enjoy working with clients to explore coping mechanisms and tackle root issues. My favorite part of this work is building relationships and trust with clients. I believe that the therapeutic alliance is the best tool for engaging in work that will create meaningful change and lasting benefits.

That is why I strive to provide each client with the individualized support they need to make the changes they want to make in their life. With the proper support and resources, I believe that every person can seek the healing they desire. I provide individual therapy for adolescents and adults who are experiencing the following: anxiety, depression, life stressors and transitions, grief and loss, trauma, and identity concerns. What our clients are saying.

Incredible practitioner

Meredith is an incredible practitioner with several areas of expertise. Meredith demonstrates empathy and compassion while always maintaining a high ethical standard. I have referred many potential clients to Meredith and love when we can team together!

Erin J - Psychology Today

Heart for healing

My therapist is a genuinely compassionate person with a heart for healing. Her sharp wit, excellent communication skills, and sense of empathy created an environment where my family and I felt comfortable sharing our struggles. I feel so lucky to have been able to work with my therapist, we couldn’t have grown the way we have without her expert and insightful guidance. My therapist goes above and beyond to help you to make you feel safe and heard.

Raquel N.

Wonderful therapist

I met my therapist on the second day of my terminally ill son’s life who wasn’t supposed to even be alive for her to meet. This was a trauma, slow-burning until acute. As good therapists do, she listens and listens, then listens some more. Then at seminal points, she poses poignantly simple questions that help me grow. My therapist is a wonderful.

Alex S.

Grateful for support

My therapist is an excellent listener and offers helpful insights and steps for resolution. She is very caring and dedicated to the people in her care. My therapist has helped me navigate through some of the hardest moments of my life. I am so grateful for her support.

Michelle S.

We look forward to every session

My daughter and I have been coming to therapy for a few years now, and we’ve both truly loved it. Our Therapist is amazing—so supportive and incredibly helpful through all of life’s ups and downs. Talking with her has made such a positive difference for me.
My daughter has seen two therapists, and both have helped her so much with her anxiety and big feelings. She looks forward to every session, and the tools she’s learning have been invaluable.
We cannot recommend VitalCare enough. We love it!

Bryna S.

Out of the shadows and into the light

My therapist was the person that I could count on to feel safe. She made me feel heard and not alone during a very dark and hard time. My therapist created a space for me where I could feel vulnerable and not be judged and I felt comfortable to share. The first session I had with her, I remember after pouring my heart out and her telling me that it was okay and that I wasn’t alone. I would look forward to see her every month from there on. I would always have this calm wave come over me, like everything was fine. She created a space where I could talk without wanting to stop. She cares deeply about her clients and their success. To describe what my therapist did for my family and I in a simple sentence, I’d say she pulled us out of the shadows and into the light.

Melissa H, 10 years old

Caring therapist

Some incredibly caring therapists who have gotten us through the most difficult time in our lives. Art therapy has been so delicately designed to bring out the big emotions in my child. So grateful for them.

Tami D - Google Review

Best therapist I’ve ever had

This is where I see the best therapist I’ve ever had in over 11 years of therapy. Rachel has been so helpful where so many others didn’t work out for me. I have made so much progress. Highly recommend VitalCare for therapy!
