Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a hands-on technique that involves manipulating the muscles and soft tissue of the body using a variety of techniques to promote overall health and wellness.  It is an effective tool for people of all ages.  Massage can help promote stress relief and relaxation, reduce pain, and improve circulation and lymphatic flow. Note that therapeutic bodywork is never intended to replace or substitute for a person’s medically prescribed treatment.

All bodies can benefit from nurturing touch, no matter the age. Early and consistent affectionate touch for children has been shown to stimulate their brains, bodies, and spirits and promote growth and development.  Healthy, nurturing touch can help with a child’s somatosensory system, autonomic regulation, social development, processing and learning, and immune function.

In children, joints are still developing; therefore, traditional spa-type bodywork treatments for adults may not be effective or even suitable for kids. Massage can sometimes move all sorts of energies and release thoughts, memories, and emotions. Children need special bodywork techniques and methods catered to their specific bodies and unique needs.

VitalCare’s team of Licensed Massage Therapists provide individualized in-home or in-office massage therapy. Our massage therapists have been trained to work with pediatric clients through the Liddle Kidz Foundation. Our providers will customize every session to each person’s circumstances, goals, and needs. Children remain clothed throughout the entire session. We recommend children wear loose sweats, pajama bottoms, or other soft, “lounging” pants or shorts, and a loose, comfortable shirt, ideally without snaps, buttons, or other hard accessories. We encourage guardians to stay in the room with their child while the massage is being performed.

Appointments can be scheduled for in-office or in-home. Please call 720-458-0642 or use the “Get Started” form in the sidebar for more information.

Fantastic!

My massage therapist is fantastic! I try to see her every week. I am having fewer headaches since I started seeing her and my shoulder mobility is much improved.

Surpassed my expectations!

My massage therapist surpassed my expectations with her expertise in her ability to help release very tight muscle groups resulting in increased range of motion and decreased pain. She listens to feedback and integrates the information into her therapy.

She is an answer to my prayers

The quality of the therapeutic massage was beyond my expectations. My massage therapist provided exceptional individualized massage to my numerous problem areas with the explanation of the rationale for her interventions. I now know what a truly therapeutic massage is (vs. my previous hot stone pamper massages). She is an answer to my prayers to aid in recovery after an auto accident.

Sports Massage

I have been working with my massage therapist for over two years.  She has literally kept me on the field playing soccer!  Since working with my massage therapist, I have not suffered an injury, prior to working with her, I was sidelined 2-3 times a year.

Prenatal Massage

I saw my massage therapist at VitalCare for a prenatal massage at 38 weeks pregnant. Not only was the facility clean, bright, and welcoming, but she was an absolute joy to be with. She made the whole process extremely comfortable, listened to my requests and needs, and did a wonderful job with my massage. She is thoughtful, thorough, and very skilled. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone, and I definitely intend to return regularly.
